Temperatures have been rising over the past few days, sometimes reaching close to 40°C in some parts of France. So do not turn on the oven or stew vegetables on the stove. We choose recipes without cooking. On the menu: a first course, a main course and a dessert, which will cope well with the high temperature.
Heat warning! A new heat wave is expected across France. The temperature will rise again and even exceed 39°C in some parts of the territory. In this situation, it is better to abandon the oven and recipes that require time to cook. Make room for refreshments and desserts and quenching thirst. Salads, gazpacho, fruits, vegetables and frozen desserts will be your best allies in the fight against the heat.
What to drink when it’s hot? Did you know: too cold a drink accelerates dehydration of the body. Solution: Choose a warm or hot drink, such as tea or infusion. The latter allows the vessel to expand and dissipate heat more easily. So, no more glasses of ice water and sodas with ice cubes! Also prefer room temperature water over refrigerated water. You will soon feel the difference.
