Every year French Burger Cup by Socopa Watch the country’s best recipe competition.

For this edition, 25 burghers from five regions (Île-de-France, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and West) competed in the finals of the competition. It will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at the Sandwich and Snack Show in Paris.

In the description of the recipe on Coupe de France du Burger’s official page, Christopher Skatulski explains that “I’ve traveled a lot around the world and I’m fascinated by Peruvian food”.

I made a burger out of turmeric bread and Amazonian almonds in reference to the mythical gold of the Incas. Charolais beef steak served “lomo saltado” style. After mixing it with peppers, tomatoes and onions, I snacked on it and then deglazed it with soy sauce, which brought out a nice caramelization and a unique flavor. Queso Blanco is a fresh cheese that brings smoothness and freshness, marinated avocado roundness, sweet potato chips crisp and chorizo ​​a raised note.
